HTC Diamond Video Review

Sorry its been a few days since the last post, but I’ll make it worth it. Here is the video review of the HTC diamond. In case you missed it, there are two walk through videos from last week, here and here.

So what is the verdict.
The Diamond is just about the most stylized Windows Mobile device I have seen. There are some great features, such as the notification lights under the 4 way rocker and the tilt sensor to change the phone to silent mode. Those are very cool, but the TouchFLO 3d home screen, is still pretty week. It really not a hard call. As it stands, the device look great, but performance is on the weak side and there are better performing Windows Mobile devices today.

3G iphone, today was the day

So all the buildup to today, was it worth it? Mm, maybe. But lets see. Some of the high points.
3G
2.0 software
App store.
$199 8GB
Can not be purchased unless activated on ATT, either at a Apple store or ATT.
Complete specification from Apple.
Major shipping date July 11. Looks like the 2.0 software is at that time.
This was a let down. I was thinking that the 2.0 software and App store would go live today. But ohh well, just a few more weeks.

3G iphone, display changed

I could just not resist all the 3G iphone info floating around this weekend. Came across a picture of the the iphone display at Carphone Warehouse. Looks like they removed all the current gen iphones from there displays.
So who knows, but it keep things interesting, while I sit at the airport, for a weather delay.
